Dear Colin,
Thank you for applying to be a London Ambassador during the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The response has been amazing, with over 22,000 applications for 8,000 London Ambassador roles.
With such high levels of interest we’ve had to limit the number of people we invite to the first round of recruitment events, which will take place over the next few months.
Unfortunately, you haven’t been shortlisted for this stage. However, over the next few months, it is likely that additional places will become available. If you are happy to remain on the reserve list we will email you and let you know should any more places become available. If they do, you would be asked to attend a recruitment event a little later on.
In the meantime, there are hundreds of other volunteering opportunities available throughout the capital, which you might be interested in. Why not find out what’s happening near you? Based on the information you gave us in your application form, here are some ideas to get you started:
