Baltimore Ray was born Raymaondo Matthews JR, on December 1, 1982 and was raised in the slums on the Eastside of Baltimore, Md. Baltimore Ray has been driven by hip hop since a very young age. Influenced by greats such as LL Cool J, Rakim, Tupac, Nas, Jay-Z and Notorious B.I.G., he has developed into a relentless force in music.

Baltimore Ray writing style embodies a cutting-edge with lyrical prowess that is a direct reflection of the streets he grew up in. Loving all genres of music, Baltimore Ray packs a plethora of songs from hardcore to mainstream music. His strength is his versatility.
