IT'S PAINTING AND DRAWING HERE From Monday 25th. April

A Nice Walk around Enfield with pictures along the London Loop

 Starting point The Rose and Crown Public House, Clay Hill,
Walk west towards Baker street. 
Turn left at the Baker street mini roundabout towards Forty hill.
Take public footpath 30 yards on left.
Follow woodland path
When you reach the next signpost turn right towards Forty hall.
This takes you alongside Forty hall farm behind the alotments.
At the end of this path turn right through this gate into Forty hall.
Here you will find the courtyard cafe for tea and snacks.
Carry on past Forty hall the Elizabethan house and museum.
Past the large Cedar tree to the Lake.
At the lake take the path to the right.
cross the carpark to the opposite side.
Now head down the hill towards Turkey brook.
 Passing the old tree struck by lightning on the right.
At Turkey brook turn left.
Follow the path keep the brook on your right.
Passed the woodland fishing lake on the left.
Carry on keeping the brook on your right.
At the very end of the path pass through the blue gate and left up the steps.
Follow the bottom arrow down the path ahead.
This opens out into the old pitch and putt area behind the Rose and Crown.
Take the path right over the bridge and turn left on Beggars hollow lane.
And hear we are back at the Rose and Crown.
In the Hillyfields park opposite you will find a map of the London Loop if you wish to go further.
just follow the arrows.
But this is where I get off as I'm 100 yards from home.
